A CBA was used in the development and revitalization of Regent Park in Toronto. Toronto Community Housing (TCHC), a not-for-profit organization that provides the largest social housing options in Canada, partnered with Community Benefits Oversight Working Group (CBOWG) and Tridel, the largest privately owned residential real estate group, to develop support for residents for phases four and five of the Regent Park development. The extensive community feedback outlined several suggestions by the residents of Regent Park on how to best support the community for success and sustainability. Feedback on how to best utilize the $26.8 million in CBA benefits included supporting at-risk youth, programs for women, entrepreneurship, safety, and scholarships.
