This is an example of the positive and successful use of CBAs. In Vancouver, British Columbia the municipal government partnered with Parq Vancouver, a private enterprise mixed-use development next to BC Place. Parq Vancouver worked with Blade Runner, an organization that supports at-risk youth, the Vancouver farmers market, and Gorman Studios. The CBA with Parq Vancouver and Blade Runners supported educating and training at-risk youth to become successful ironworkers for the project which they were able to utilize for other projects around Vancouver.
