The Participatory Budgeting Project also brings three very brief yet heartwarming experiences with Participatory Budgeting. The first one has fostered young leaders in schools in the U.S. in general, the second has focused on the need for air conditioning in schools but specifically in New York city, and thirdly, Oakland, California, has prompted community improvements and services for immigrants and seniors.
